Idllywild County Park

54000 Riverside County Playground Rd, Idyllwild-Pine Cove, CA

Idyllwild County Park (officially Idyllwild Regional Park) is a Riverside County park and campground along Lily Creek about a mile north of the town of Idyllwild, spread across more than 200 acres of mature pine and oak forest. The campground has 88 sites with picnic tables, fire rings, coin-operated showers, and restrooms, with some sites offering electric, water, and sewer connections. Large granite boulders scattered through the park are popular with climbers, and trails lead directly from the campground into the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains forest. Its short walk into the town of Idyllwild for food and supplies makes it a convenient basecamp for riders working the Highway 243/74 mountain loop.
