Independence Brewing Co.

Independence Brewing Co. is one of Texas's original craft breweries, founded in 2004 by Amy and Rob Cartwright and still pouring from its taproom in southeast Austin. The indoor space gives visitors a view into the brewing process along with a movie projector and a private karaoke room, while a covered patio out back has its own stage with a full sound system. The brewery is known for its imperial IPAs and oatmeal stouts, and a rotating food truck called Provisions by Hajima serves Korean fusion street food on site. It is a laid back stop for a beer break on a ride through southeast Austin, with plenty of outdoor seating for warm weather visits.
