Indian Cove Campground

Indian Cove Campground is a National Park Service campground in Joshua Tree National Park, set among huge granite rock formations near Twentynine Palms, California. The campground has 101 individual sites plus 13 tent-only group sites, all reservable year-round through the park's booking system, though there are no hookups or drinking water on site. The location puts riders close to some of the park's best rock-climbing routes and a maze of boulder-strewn trails, with water and an emergency phone available about two miles away at the ranger station. Fall through spring is the most comfortable stretch for a stay, when daytime temperatures in the 70s and 80s give way to cool desert nights.
