3255 W Lake Blvd, Homewood, CA

Kaspian Campground is a small, tent-only U.S. Forest Service campground on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, about four miles south of Tahoe City off Highway 89 near Homewood, within the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The campground has just 9 walk-in sites set among mature ponderosa pine and white fir, with picnic tables, campfire rings, flush toilets, and drinking water. Sites are within walking distance of the Kaspian day-use area on the lakeshore, where visitors can swim, fish, kayak, paddleboard, or windsurf, and the West Shore bike path begins nearby for cyclists circling the lake. The campground typically operates from late May through October and is reservable through Recreation.gov, making it a quiet basecamp for motorcyclists riding Highway 89 along Tahoe's west shore.
