Kumeyaay Campground

Kumeyaay Lake Campground is the campground of Mission Trails Regional Park, a 7,220-acre park about 12 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. The campground offers 46 reservable sites near Kumeyaay Lake, open for camping on Friday and Saturday nights, with RV, campervan, and trailer sites available in designated loops alongside tent sites. Campers have access to the wider park's sixty miles of hiking and biking trails, boating and fishing at nearby Lake Murray, and the park's visitor center. Reservations are handled through the park district and must be booked and paid electronically, with cancellations required at least 14 days in advance.
