Lake Del Valle Marina
7000 Del Valle Rd, Livermore, CA
Lake Del Valle Marina operates on Lake Del Valle within Del Valle Regional Park, about ten miles south of Livermore in the East Bay hills, under a concession run by Rocky Mountain Recreation Company on behalf of the East Bay Regional Park District. The marina rents fishing boats, pontoon boats, sun cruisers, canoes, row boats, and pedal boats, and sells Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing licenses along with the regional park fishing permit, bait, and tackle needed to fish the lake.
The lake itself stretches about five miles with 16 miles of shoreline and a 10 mph speed limit, keeping it calm for anglers and paddlers rather than high-speed boating. Beyond the water, the surrounding 5,000-plus acres of oak-covered hills offer roughly 67 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, making the marina a convenient stop for travelers combining a lake visit with a longer ride through the Livermore-area backcountry.
