Lake Perris Campground
Riverside, CA
Lake Perris Campground sits inside Lake Perris State Recreation Area on the southern edge of the Box Springs Mountains near Moreno Valley, a straightforward detour off Highway 60 or the 215 for riders working inland Riverside County. The state-run campground is large, with 431 sites spread across tent, RV, and equestrian loops, plus group and hike-bike camping.
Of the total, 264 paved sites carry hookups for RVs up to 41 feet and 167 are non-hookup tent sites, all served by potable water, flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. A marina with boat and watercraft rentals, a launch ramp, and a swim beach round out the lake side of the park, with reservations bookable up to six months out.
