Lassen RV Park Campground
548-335 Old Highway RD, McArthur, CA
Lassen RV Park & Campground occupies sixty-eight acres of forested land in McArthur, California, in the Fall River Valley of the far northern Sierra Cascades. The property has run as a campground since 1979 and today offers forty-four RV and tent camping spaces, a seasonal swimming pool open June through September, an on-site cafe, a gift shop, and a set of color-named walking trails decorated with local art and views toward Mount Shasta.
Its location puts riders within reach of Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls, Lava Beds National Monument, and fishing access on Eagle Lake, Hat Creek, the Pit River, and the Fall River, making it a well-placed overnight base for a loop through the region's volcanic and forest scenery. New stewards Danelle and Ben Jansen took over the property in 2020 and have kept it running as a full-service stop for travelers passing through this remote stretch of Northern California.
