Last Chance Bar & Dancehall

Last Chance Bar & Dancehall occupies a historic dance hall on Highway 290 in the Belterra area southwest of Austin, in a building that formerly operated as the 290 West Club before the current owners took it over in 2019. The name comes from an old sign outside reading that it was the last chance to grab a drink before heading into the Hill Country. Inside there are two full bars, a pool table and live music several nights a week, plus a patio for spreading out. Late night food is served until close, making it a workable stop for riders heading toward Dripping Springs and the hill country beyond.
