Lawson's Landing
137 Marine View Dr, Dillon Beach, CA
Lawson's Landing is a family-run fishing, boating, and camping resort at the mouth of Tomales Bay in Dillon Beach, California, about fifty miles north of San Francisco. First established in 1929 and operating as a campground since 1957, the property spreads across broad grassland with more than four hundred campsites, most within a short walk of the beach and several sitting right along the bay itself.
Sites come with water and electric hookups, water-only hookups, or fully dry setups, each with a picnic table and fire ring, and the grounds include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, trash collection, and two dump stations. Camping runs year-round with reservations available up to six months out, and the open, breezy meadow layout makes it a popular stop for riders looking to camp near the water along the Marin coastline north of the city.
