Leathers

What are leathers? Leathers are motorcycle jackets, pants, or one-piece suits made of thick abrasion-resistant leather. Leather's advantage is how it behaves sliding on pavement; its disadvantages are weight, heat, and what happens to it in a long rain. Riders in hot states often keep leathers for cooler months and ride in ventilated textile gear the rest of the year.
