Live Oak is the lobby lounge and bar inside the Four Seasons Hotel Austin at 98 San Jacinto Boulevard, positioned on the downtown side of Lady Bird Lake with one of the better outdoor deck views in the city. Craft cocktails and elevated bar bites are the focus, with a menu that draws on Executive Sous Chef Abril Galindo's Guadalajara upbringing alongside more familiar bar snacks like burgers and tacos. The deck is a well known spot to watch the Congress Avenue bat colony emerge at dusk, and the lounge runs live music on select nights. It is a hotel bar rather than a standalone dive, so a rider should expect upscale prices and a dressier crowd than a typical Austin bar stop.
