Lodgepole Campground, at 47050 Generals Hwy near Three Rivers, is Sequoia National Park's largest developed campground, with over 200 sites along the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River at about 6,700 feet elevation. All sites are reservation-only through Recreation.gov and typically become available four months ahead of a stay, with the campground open from roughly May through November depending on snowpack.
The campground sits a quarter mile from Lodgepole Village, which has a visitor center, a small market and gift shop, and coin-operated showers and laundry, useful for a multi-day stop. Generals Highway through the park is a well-known mountain route connecting Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-proof food storage box.
