Long Ravine Campground

Long Ravine Resort sits on Rollins Lake at 26909 Rollins Lake Rd near Colfax, less than ten minutes off Interstate 80 at about 2,300 feet elevation. The resort offers 30-amp full hookup sites, paved pull-throughs, a restaurant and snack bar, a marina and boat ramp, and rentals for paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes, run by the Nevada Irrigation District. Rollins Lake has thirteen miles of shoreline split between open water for skiing and calmer coves for fishing bass, catfish, and trout, and the campground is roughly 45 minutes from Sacramento and about an hour from Reno, making it a convenient overnight stop for riders working the I-80 corridor through the Sierra foothills.
