Lower Lee Vining Campground

Lower Lee Vining Campground is a 51-site Inyo National Forest campground in Lee Vining Canyon along Highway 120, sitting at about 7,300 feet elevation next to Lee Vining Creek. Sites are primitive, first come first served, and include bear lockers, picnic tables, and fire rings, with vault toilets on-site but no piped drinking water. The campground is minutes from Mono Lake and sits along the approach to Tioga Pass and Yosemite's eastern entrance, making Highway 120 through the canyon a well-traveled route for riders heading into the high Sierra. Its location along that corridor and proximity to Mono Lake's tufa formations make it a practical overnight stop for travelers working through the Eastern Sierra.
