Mangos Beach Club

Mangos Beach Club is an outdoor beach bar in downtown Galveston with a laid back Caribbean feel, frozen daiquiris, and a deck built for watching the Gulf sun go down. The soundtrack runs top 40 most nights and shifts to reggae on Sundays, while cabana seating, beer pong, and cornhole keep the crowd loose. It does not serve food, so it works best as a drink and music stop rather than a full meal. For a rider working Galveston's seawall and Strand district, Mangos sits inside a three venue complex alongside Mob Bar and Maze Nightclub, so there is a lot of nightlife within a short walk once the bike is parked for the evening. The open air, dog friendly deck makes it an easy midday or evening stop on a coastal loop through the island's beachfront bars.
