Mataguay Scout Ranch

Mataguay Scout Ranch is a roughly 1,000-acre Scouting property owned and operated by the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America, located at 27955 Highway 79 in Santa Ysabel, in the backcountry near Lake Henshaw in northeastern San Diego County. The ranch hosts BSA summer camp sessions and year-round unit programs, with activities that include archery, riflery, black powder and shotgun shooting, swimming, and boating on the lake. Beyond organized troop and pack events, the council also runs family camping weekends at Mataguay. Campsites on the property include latrines, running water, and campfire rings, and the ranch has lodges, cabins, and administration buildings available for group use.
