Mattole River Camp & Retreat

Mattole River Camp and Retreat is a group retreat property at 36841 Mattole Rd in Petrolia, CA, on California's Lost Coast roughly halfway between Petrolia and Honeydew. The site sits along the Mattole River, which is open for swimming, wading, and fishing seasonally, and it is reached via Mattole Road, a remote route with little to no cell coverage. The property can accommodate up to 80 guests between its lodge and cabins, with room for additional tents and a handful of RVs. The main lodge, built in the early 1990s, is ADA accessible and includes a commercial kitchen, a great room with a wood stove, three bedrooms, and accessible restrooms with hot showers.
