Modesto Reservoir

Modesto Reservoir Regional Park is a Stanislaus County park at 18143 Reservoir Road near Waterford, California, about 20 miles east of Modesto. The park covers roughly 3,200 acres of land around a 2,800-acre reservoir, with four camping loops. Loops A and B offer full hookups, Loop C has electric and water hookups, and Loop D (Shady Point) has no hookups and isn't suited to RVs or trailers, for a total of 134 hookup sites and 36 tent sites. Amenities include picnic shelters, flush toilets, hot showers, sewage disposal, an archery range, and a radio-controlled glider airfield, alongside swimming, fishing, boating, and water skiing on the reservoir.
