Monterey Veterans Memorial Park

Monterey Veterans Memorial Park is a 50-acre city park and campground at 1200 Veterans Drive in Monterey, California, about a mile from downtown, set among Monterey pine forest with bay views. The park includes hiking trails, picnic areas with barbecues, a playground, and a basketball court, and the campground is open 365 days a year. Campsites are first-come, first-served with no reservations, camping is limited to three consecutive days, and vehicles or trailers cannot exceed 21 feet. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit, and the park provides showers and restrooms; during fire season, cooking is restricted to fuel camp stoves.
