What is a naked bike? A naked bike is a street motorcycle without full bodywork — the engine and frame are left exposed and the rider sits upright behind wide handlebars. It is the middle ground between a sport bike's crouch and a cruiser's stretch. The trade-off is wind: with no fairing to hide behind, sustained highway speed is more work than it is on a faired bike.
