Numan's Cafe and Sports Bar is a family-owned and operated establishment that has served Johnson City since 1993, operating as a comprehensive entertainment venue on two floors at 225 East Main Street. The facility operates as the largest bar and billiards center in East Tennessee with 23 pool tables distributed across two levels, creating an extensive gaming environment. The bar and restaurant combination offers multiple entertainment options including pool leagues, karaoke, poker tournaments, and television sports viewing with two full bars serving a diverse beverage selection. The venue opened in August 1993 as the Chucky Trading Company and was renamed Numan's Cafe and Sports Bar in 1997 by current owners Dan and Jan Numan. The two-level layout with 20 pool tables, games, and recreational activities makes it the largest billiards center in northeast Tennessee. Regular events include Texas Hold 'Em poker tournaments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and karaoke performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, providing consistent entertainment opportunities.
