Otter Springs Park & Campground

Otter Springs Park & Campground is a sprawling nature sanctuary centered around a second-magnitude spring that maintains a constant 73-degree temperature and flows into the nearby Suwannee River. The park offers more than 100 RV sites with full hookups, alongside climate-controlled cabins and a unique stilt house for overnight stays. For those who prefer the comfort of a temperature-controlled environment, the property includes a large, enclosed pavilion with a heated swimming pool available year-round. Outdoor enthusiasts can navigate five miles of nature trails that wind through mixed forests and upland communities. The park provides a dedicated canoe and kayak launch, allowing direct access to the spring run and the river for paddling and fishing. Indoor recreation is available at the Little Otter Club, which houses a gym and a game area equipped with board games and foosball. Located in the heart of Gilchrist County, the campground serves as a quiet base for exploring North Florida's spring country. It is situated near the Nature Coast State Trail, offering easy access for cyclists to explore the region’s paved trail network via surrounding back roads. The park also features basketball and volleyball courts for day-use recreation.
