Outdoor Journeys

Outdoor Journeys is a nonprofit youth development organization that runs Camp Nawakwa, a residential camp at 4650 Jenks Lake Road East in Angelus Oaks, California, in the Barton Flats area of the San Bernardino Mountains. The 14-acre site sits inside the national forest and has served children from Southern California and Nevada since 1947.
Programs at the camp include archery, rock climbing, tomahawk throwing, arts and crafts, and outdoor living skills activities such as orienteering, fire building, and hiking. Outdoor Journeys also runs a separate day camp, Camp Blue Sky, near Upland.
