Paradise Road Campgrounds and Recreation Area

Paradise Campground is a U.S. Forest Service campground on Paradise Road in the Los Padres National Forest, roughly 18 miles from downtown Santa Barbara, California, up Highway 154 in the Santa Ynez Mountains. It sits at about 1,000 feet elevation along Santa Ynez River recreation corridor. The campground offers just over a dozen tent and RV sites with picnic tables, fire rings, flush toilets, and potable water, though it has no utility hookups. Paved parking spurs can accommodate most RVs, some sites are reservable through Recreation.gov up to six months out while others are first-come first-served, and the nearby Aliso National Recreation Trail offers a 2.5 mile loop hike for a break off the bike.
