Paso Picacho Campground

Paso Picacho Campground is a California State Parks campground within Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, located off Highway 79 near Julian and Descanso in San Diego County, at roughly 5,000 feet elevation. The campground has 85 sites for RVs up to 30 feet, trailers, and tents, plus five cabins, a walk-in group tent site, and equestrian camping. Amenities include a dump station, drinking water, flush toilets, and hot-water showers, though there are no RV hookups. Reservations run through Recreation.gov, with some sites available for walk-up camping, and the campground provides direct trail access to hikes up Stonewall Peak and Cuyamaca Peak as well as nearby Lake Cuyamaca.
