Pine Grove Campground

Pine Grove Campground is a small U.S. Forest Service campground in the Inyo National Forest, located on Rock Creek Road below Rock Creek Lake near Mammoth Lakes, California, at about 9,300 feet elevation. It has 10 campsites set among Jeffrey pines and is managed by the Inyo National Forest.
Each site includes a table, fire ring with grill, and a bear-proof food storage locker, with drinking water and a vault toilet on site; there are no reservations or hookups, and RVs over 15 feet are not permitted. The campground provides access to fishing, hiking, and backpacking around Rock Creek Lake, about eight miles west of Toms Place on Highway 395.
