Plaskett Creek Campground

Plaskett Creek Campground is a U.S. Forest Service campground in the Los Padres National Forest, on the inland side of Highway 1 in the southern stretch of Big Sur near Lucia. It sits roughly 35 miles north of San Simeon and 60 miles south of Carmel, with Sand Dollar Beach directly across the highway. The campground offers individual sites for tents and RVs, each with a table and a campfire ring with a grill, plus three group sites; portable toilets are provided and campers must bring their own drinking water. Nearby trails lead to Sand Dollar Beach, Jade Cove, and Plaskett Rock Point, making it a stop along the scenic Highway 1 coastal route.
