Prosser Family Campground

Prosser Family Campground is a Tahoe National Forest campground on the west shore of Prosser Reservoir, about 10 minutes north of Truckee, California. It sits among Jeffrey pine and fir forest with sagebrush along the surrounding slopes, and Truckee nearby offers restaurants, gas stations, and shopping. The campground has 29 sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring, along with vault toilets and drinking water. The reservoir supports boating, canoeing, paddling, and fishing, with a 10-mph speed limit for power boats and a boat ramp about a half-mile away; most sites can be booked through Recreation.gov.
