Respectable Street
518 Clematis St, West Palm Beach, FL
Housed in a 1920s Salvation Army building, this legendary West Palm Beach venue has been a cornerstone of the Florida alternative and indie scene since 1987.
Respectable Street is one of the longest-running nightclubs in the Southeast, known for its high-ceilinged interior featuring psychedelic murals, a checkerboard dance floor, and an underground aesthetic inspired by London clubs. The building itself is a historic structure that was once a Salvation Army headquarters, meticulously restored to host over a thousand live acts including the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Misfits.
Located on the 500 block of Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, the venue is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and late-night spots. It continues to be a primary destination for alternative, punk, and electronic music fans, offering a gritty, authentic atmosphere that stands apart from typical South Florida clubs.
