Riding Boots
Riding boots are over-the-ankle motorcycle boots with ankle support, grippy oil-resistant soles, and a reinforced shift pad.
What are riding boots? Riding boots are over-the-ankle boots built for motorcycling: ankle support, a sole that grips at a stop and resists oil, and a reinforced pad on the left toe where the shifter sits. Ankle coverage is the point — a foot goes down first in a low-speed drop and gets caught between bike and pavement. Regular work boots cover more than sneakers do, but lack the shift pad and the ankle structure.
