Stone's Throw is a historic bar and live music venue located in downtown Eau Claire's Barnes Block at 304 Eau Claire Street. The building has operated as a bar and eatery with entertainment since the early 1900s, starting as a blues and jazz club before Frank Stone opened the current Stones Throw Club in 1985. Today it hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights, with Open Mic Thursday hosted by Shootin' Jack, and offers a full menu featuring homemade cheesecurds, sandwiches, burgers, Mexican specialties, soups, and salads.
The venue features 14 specialty beer taps, pool, darts, and shuffleboard in addition to the live music stage. The bar is closed Monday and Sunday, open Tuesday through Thursday 5 PM to 2 AM, and Friday and Saturday 5 PM to 2:30 AM.
