The Lodge

The Lodge is a bar on East 6th Street in downtown Austin that has operated since 2008, decked out in Texas-themed decor with deer antler chandeliers and a large Longhorn mounted on the wall. Rustic wood and North American taxidermy set the tone for a bar that leans into a hunting-lodge aesthetic rather than the neon-and-DJ style common elsewhere on the strip. The menu runs to bar food like wings, fried okra, and cheese curds alongside crawfish, and the venue can host private parties from 30 up to 250 people. It shares a phone number with the neighboring Burnside's Tavern next door at 413 East 6th, but the two operate as separate, currently active venues with their own names, websites, and social media presence.
