TX 118: Davis Mountains Scenic Loop

The Davis Mountains Scenic Loop is a 75-mile circuit near Fort Davis combining State Highway 118 and State Highway 166 through volcanic peaks reaching 8,000 feet. The route climbs to McDonald Observatory at 6,800 feet with panoramic views across West Texas high desert.
