This 80-mile northwestern Washington route features a very nice mix of very fast sweeping turns, long straights, and tight twisty sections with lots of good switchbacks. Starting in Bingen and ending in Lyle, the route passes through White Salmon, BZ Corner, Glenwood, and Klickitat. Riders encounter open range areas where livestock may cross the road. The route showcases views of Mt Adams and the Klickitat River canyon. Three gas stations are available along the loop for fuel stops. Pavement quality varies but is generally acceptable. Tourism opportunities include a Stonehenge replica World War I memorial and Mary Hill Winery. The route is highly rated for its sporting character and relatively light traffic compared to other regional alternatives.
